Difflam Cough lozenges temporarily reduces coughing, relieves sore, inflamed throats.

Difflam Cough lozenges contain a cough suppressant and an anti-inflammatory agent to reduce coughing and relieve the symptoms of a sore throat. Difflam cough lozenges also contain an anti-bacterial agent.

Difflam Lozenges are also Sugar Free, Suitable for Diabetics

Active Ingredients:

Each lozenge contains:

Benzydamine Hydrochloride 1.50mg,

Pholcodeine 5.50mg,

Cetylpyridinium Chloride 1.33mg.

Also contains Saccharin sodium.

Dosage:

ADULTS & CHILDREN OVER 12YRS: Slowly dissolve two lozenges in the mouth, one at a time. Repeat every 3 hours as required, up to a maximum of 12 lozenges per day.

CHILDREN 6 TO 12 YRS: Slowly dissolve 1 lozenge in the mouth, every 3 hours as required, up to a maximum of 8 lozenges per day.

Do not use in children under 6 years of age. For children under 6 years of age consult a healthcare professional before use.

Warnings:

Should not be chewed. Uninterrupted treatment should not exceed 7 days unless under medical supervision. If symptoms persist seek medical advice.

The clinical efficacy of an antiseptic agent in lozenges in reducing the severity or duration of throat infections has not been clinically established.
