Swisse Pregnancy+ Ultivite is a premium quality formula to provide nutritional support for the mother and her developing baby, during preconception, pregnancy and breastfeeding.
BENEFITS
This comprehensive, one-a-day formula contains 22 vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids for nutritional support. The benefits of supplementing the diet with omega-3 DHA during pregnancy have been well researched. Omega-3 DHA plays an important role in the healthy development of the baby's eyes, brain and nervous system.
The developing baby relies solely on the mother for supply of omega-3. Swisse Pregnancy+ Ultivite includes a dose of omega-3 to help meet the mother and baby's needs. Swisse Pregnancy + Ultivite also provides a daily dose of 500mcg of folic acid. Taken daily for one month before conception and during pregnancy, this dose of folic acid may support the healthy development of the baby's spine and spinal cord. Iodine is included for the development of the baby’s brain and hearing.
DIRECTIONS
ADULT DOSAGE:
One capsule daily, during or immediately after a meal, or as directed by a healthcare professional.
STORAGE:
Store below 25°C. Do not use if cap seal is broken.
WARNINGS:
Vitamin supplements should not replace a balanced diet. If symptoms persist consult your healthcare practitioner. This product contains selenium, which is toxic in high doses. A daily dose of 150 micrograms for adults of selenium from dietary supplements should not be exceeded. Do not exceed the stated dose except on medical advice. If you have had a baby with a neural tube defect/spina bifida, seek specific medical advice. Not for the treatment of iron deficiency conditions.
