Sambucol Throat Lozenges with honey combine health supporting and antioxidant rich Black elderberries, Vitamin C & Zinc to help soothe the throat*, support the immune system and general health and well being. Soothe that sore throat* with a great tasting lozenge.
* Black elderberries have been traditionally used in Western Herbal Medicine to help relieve the sore throat during common cold and flu.
Sambucol Throat Lozenges with honey combine health supporting and antioxidant rich Black elderberries, Vitamin C & Zinc to help soothe the throat*, support the immune system and general health and well being. Soothe that sore throat* with a great tasting lozenge.
* Black elderberries have been traditionally used in Western Herbal Medicine to help relieve the sore throat during common cold and flu.
Adults: Take 1-2 lozenges every hour, or as needed; up to 16 lozenges per day. Children 6-9 years: Take 1 lozenge every 3 hours, up to 4 per day. Children 9-12 years: take 1 lozenge every 1-2 hours, up to 8 per day. Seek medical advice before using during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Not to be used in children under 2 years of age without medical advice. Vitamin supplements should not replace a balanced diet.. Contains zinc which may be dangerous if taken in large amount or for a long period. Contains sugars as part of honey. Product contains 7.1 g of malitol and 6.4 g of sorbitol at the maximum recommended daily dose which may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea. Store below 25°C
Dosage form: Lozenge Quantity: 20 Active ingredients per lozenge: Sambucus nigra (Black Elderberry) fruit juice dry -Equiv. fresh juice 1.2 g Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) 50 mg Zinc gluconate -Equiv. zinc 3 mg Honey 100 mg Contains Pollen, Sugars and Sorbitol.
