DOSAGE Adults: Take 1 capsule daily or as professionally advised.

WARNINGS Due to the actions of Grape Seed extract, it is probably safe to use 1 capsule daily during pregnancy. However, because insufficient research proving that Grape Seed extract at this dose is safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, we cannot recommend use during these times. Extended Information: Grape seed extract OPC’s (Oligomeric ProanthoCyanidins) are the active component of Grape Seeds. Studies have shown Grape seed extract to be highly bioavailable and provide greater antioxidant protection than vitamins C, E and beta-carotene. Oxidative damage is implicated in many degenerative diseases as well as the aging process, therefore antioxidants are recommended to help minimize these processes. OPC’s also inhibit enzymes involved in collagen destruction e.g. collagenase, elastase, and have shown anti-allergic and anti-inflammatory properties. Grape Seed extract has been shown to improve capillary permeability and strength and to increase venous tone in those with varicose veins.
