Otrivin ADULT Nasal Drops
Otrivin is a nasal decongestant. It is effective in treating nasal congestion and provides quick relief from nasal discomfort due to colds, allergies and sinusitis.
Quantity Restriction:
Maximum of any 2 Otrivin variants per order. This applies to all variants of Otrivin. Anything over that will automatically be changed to 2.
ACTIVE INGREDIENTS:
Xylometazoline hydrochloride 0.01% w/v.
Otrivin ADULT Nasal Drops DOSAGE:
The nose should be cleared and the head inclined as far back as possible. After application the head should be brought well forward and turned slowly from side to side. 1 to 2 drops per nostril, 2-3 times a day.

The product Otrivin Nasal drops or ostrivin ADULT Nasal Spray 10 ml contains Xylometazoline as a significant ingredient. The presence of Xylometazoline helps the patient by opening up the blocked nose. The product is a Nasal drops for adults and acts as a decongestant and helps in constricting the blood carrying vessels present inside the nose, thus opening up more space for air passage. The congestion of the mucous membranes present in the nose is reduced significantly by the use of this product, and the swelling of the nose goes down too. For the patients who have an allergy specifically for zinc oxides, this drug is not for them. On ignoring this parameter, patients can end up with itching, rash, cough, wheezing, swelling of lips and tongue and can even have trouble with breathing. The consumption of grapefruit juice or any alcohol should be stopped while the Nasal Spray or nasal drops 10 ml is being used.
